Tell A Friend it’s Juneteenth!
It’s Juneteenth weekend and Tell A Friend will be celebrating by participating as vendors at the Black on Buchanan Juneteenth Festival Saturday, June 18th from 12:00 PM -9:00 PM CT powered by The Equity Alliance as well as the Juneteenth615 Celebration at Fort Negley Park powered by Fellavision and African American Cultural Alliance (AACA) on Sunday, June 19 from 5:00 M - 10:00 PM.
We are especially excited about the release of our “Keep It Light” summer collection featuring new clothing items such as our Summer ‘22 Shorts, Biker Shorts, and Essential Logo Tees now offered in black! We will also have our t-shirt press installation which means that shoppers at our booth will have the option of not only purchasing the new collection but also items from our collection in partnership with our friends over at The Nashville Black Market. You’ll get to choose select designs to have pressed on-site!
Our CEO, Ivan, knew that he wanted to be more than just a vendor at The Nashville Black Market, so he reached out to the co-founders, Carlos and Javvon. The partnership began with a conversation amongst entrepreneur friends that led to creative t-shirt and tote bag designs featuring phrases like “Proud 2 Pay” and “Black Owned,” and “Young Black and Gifted.” The designs highlight both brands’ love of supporting and uplifting Black-Owned Businesses.
The tote bags are perfect for collecting all of the products you’ll be buying as you support Black Owned Businesses during this weekend’s events. There are many to attend throughout the city, but we hope you will stop by our booths at Black on Buchanan and Juneteenth615 at Fort Negley Park. We’d love to meet our friends in person!
Tell a Friend would like to thank our community partners The Nashville Black Market for the opportunity to host a pop-up shop at these events.
